Is a Dominican American Artist
that I interviewed in the Bronx Journal because I saw her art work and i founded interesting. She has been painting for few years. Cynthia's art work is made
with acrylic paint because of ease use. She began adding different textures such as vanrnish and heavy oils. Cynthia paints on cardbord, wood, or linen canvas. She uses her hands in virtualy every piece to create magnificent works of art. Her travels overseas also play a very important rolo in how she creates her work. The beauty of the architecture, people and culture she encountered always remained in her thoughts and are always present in her work. She pulls inspiration from impressionist Artist like Van Gogh, Monet and modern artist such as Andy Warhol and Jean Michael Basquiat. She also can paints on Canvas whaterver ideas that come to her mind. her art work
is amazing and had gave her the opportunity to do many exhibitions such as Harlem exhibition in October 2010, included Cynthia Burgos's acrylic, black-and-while painting of oprah as a child. She did a terrific job on that paint.
